How to create a webservice key for PrestaShop

Create a read-only PrestaShop webservice key so PrestaShop Importer can securely connect your store to Shopify.

Step 1 — Open Advanced Parameters

In the side menu, find Configure and click Advanced Parameters.

Step 2 — Open Webservice

In the dropdown menu, click Webservice.

Step 3 — Add a webservice key

Click Add new webservice key at the top right of the page.

Step 4 — Configure the key

You are now on the page where you can add a new webservice key.

  1. Click Generate to generate a random key.
  2. Enter a key description, for example Shopify.
  3. Make sure Enable webservice key is set to Yes.
  4. Click View (GET) to select all the checkboxes below that header.
  5. Click Save at the bottom of the page.
  6. Copy the value of the key and enter it in our app.
