Can I migrate WooCommerce orders and customers to Shopify without CSV files?

Yes. WooCommerce Importer connects to your WooCommerce store and imports orders and customer records accepted by Shopify without you exporting, mapping or uploading CSV files. You can choose customers and orders without importing products, and a WooCommerce store with zero products can connect. Product reviews are a separate CSV export for a Shopify review app.

How do you import without preparing files?

Install WooCommerce Importer in your Shopify store and create WooCommerce API keys to connect your source store.

If you choose to start clean when Shopify already contains data, starting a migration, including a demo, permanently deletes the selected existing Shopify data. Saving the choice deletes nothing. Review that choice before starting. See the migration walkthrough.

Choose the data you want in the guided setup, then test a demo before running your full migration. Reading your source store depends on your hosting, so allow time to check the result.

What happens to orders and customers?

Order history imports for reference and reporting rather than as active orders. It includes line items and linked customer details. You can choose order statuses and how far back to import. See what an order import includes.

Customer passwords do not transfer. Shopify validates customer records and can reject individual records, including duplicate email addresses or phone numbers. Review the imported accounts as well as the run in History. The log does not show every Shopify rejection. Read what duplicate customer warnings mean.

Can you test before paying?

The free tier covers up to 100 products, 50 customers and 50 orders. Larger migrations use the lowest one-time tier that covers your counts. Re-imports are free. Check the WooCommerce Importer pricing table before starting.

Does every type of data avoid CSV files?

No. Orders and customers do not require CSV preparation in WooCommerce Importer, but product reviews export as CSV files for Judge.me or Loox. You import that file into your chosen review app separately. See how reviews, coupons and blog posts move to Shopify.

For the rest of your store, check what data transfers from WooCommerce to Shopify. For old links, follow the SEO and redirect checklist.
